A small studio, for the days when family gathers close.
Solace Paper is a small Canadian studio. We make memorial stationery for celebrations of life — welcome signs, order-of-service programs, slideshows, and small keepsakes, designed to belong together so the whole day feels considered and held.
The work is quiet and exacting, and we like it that way. Names and dates are checked letter by letter against exactly what a family sends, every piece of a suite comes from one design, and we take only as many orders each day as we can prepare with care.
Why the guides are free
Planning a service almost always falls to someone doing it for the first time, in a week with no room to spare. Long before our shop opens, that person needs plain answers: what goes in a program, what a welcome sign should say, how to begin a eulogy. So we write the guides to be genuinely useful on their own, whether or not you ever buy anything from us. Every line in them is written to pass one test — that it could be read aloud at a service.
